How I Made Over £5,000 from Side Hustles (While Working Full-Time)

Fast forward to now, and I’ve earned over £5,000 from side hustles — all while working full-time. No big audience, no complicated systems, no burnout. Just simple, legit income streams I could fit around my life.
Here’s exactly how I did it — and how you can too.
Where It All Started
My first side hustle wasn’t flashy — but it was powerful.
I started with bank account switches.
I did four switches and made £705.
My husband did the same, which meant we quickly had £1,500 set aside as an emergency fund — something we’d never had before. That one action gave me a sense of control and safety I hadn’t felt in years.
I’d caught the side hustle bug.
Next Step: Market Research
From there, I started signing up for market research interviews.
I was getting paid between £30–£60 for just 45 minutes of my time — often talking about products I already used.
It felt surreal to be making money this easily… but it was real.
And I wanted more.
Then I Discovered Matched Betting
Matched betting sounded intimidating at first, but I was determined to learn — and I’m so glad I did.
To date, I’ve made £4,288.70 from matched betting alone (since 1 November 2024).
All tax-free. All completely legit.
All done in 30–60 minutes a day, without posting on social media or selling anything to anyone.
This is now my most consistent income stream — and it’s one I’ll be keeping in my weekly routine for the long run.
